Legal
Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of the LiquidCalc mobile application and this website.
Effective date: August 23, 2026
Acceptance
By downloading, accessing, or using LiquidCalc, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website. Additional terms from Apple, Google, or another distributor may also apply.
License and permitted use
You are granted a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use LiquidCalc for lawful personal, educational, or professional calculation assistance, subject to these terms and the rules of the platform from which you obtained it.
You may not attempt to disrupt the app or website, bypass security controls, misuse the service for unlawful purposes, or copy and redistribute protected branding or content except where applicable law permits.
Calculation-aid disclaimer
LiquidCalc is a general calculation aid. Biology and chemistry outputs—including DNA melting-temperature estimates, growth calculations, CFU/mL, molarity, dilution, and pH—depend on the inputs and simplified formulas shown in the app.
LiquidCalc is not medical, clinical, laboratory-safety, engineering, financial, or other professional advice. Always verify inputs, units, formulas, methods, and results before relying on them, especially in laboratory, clinical, safety-critical, or high-impact settings.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for the values you enter, how you interpret results, and decisions you make using those results. You must use independent judgment and appropriate professional review where needed.
Availability and updates
Features may be corrected, improved, added, or removed over time. Access may occasionally be interrupted by device, platform, network, maintenance, or technical conditions. No specific feature or level of availability is guaranteed.
Intellectual property
LiquidCalc’s name, icon, interface, website design, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party names and platform marks belong to their respective owners.
No warranty
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LiquidCalc is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, reliability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss arising from your use of—or inability to use—LiquidCalc. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited only to the extent the law allows.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated to reflect changes to LiquidCalc or applicable requirements. Updated terms will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
